The Williamson Turn Stand with Knee Pad is a rotating platform with a handle bar type support that is used to assist in transferring a patient from one sitting position to another - for instance from sitting on a bedside to sitting in a wheelchair or on a commode. The patient leans forward and grasps the handlebars for balance and is helped to a standing position on the Turn Stand. Then, the automatic brake is released and the platform is easily rotated to the desired postition. The patient is then helped into the new seat - all done safely and comfortably.
