These innovative amputee boards are designed to provide a rigid seat platform in a wheelchair and assist amputees in support and positioning of their residual limb(s) with minimal impact on the user’s ability to transfer or propel. There is a board available for virtually every size wheelchair from pediatric to bariatric. The sliding section, or limb support, is housed between an upper, full width board that sits on the wheelchair seat rails and a lower, narrower board that sits on the seat sling. The sliding limb support can be pulled into position by grasping the pull-tab on the front. During transfers or when wearing a prosthesis the sliding limb support can be slid back into the board, out of the users way.
