Another popular design, this board assists with transfers from wheelchair to toilet. It is notched so the wheelchair wheel can be used to help secure the board during transfers. Note: All of these unique transfer boards are hand crafted from Baltic Birch, an extremely strong, yet surprisingly lightweight wood. This allows us to create a transfer board at about half the thickness of pine or fir, making it easier to use, easier to transport and lighter weight yet with similar weight capacities.
